The founder of Tomo Training Consulting Group Pte. Ltd., began his journey as a trainer at the tender age of 16 when he was appointed the Vice-President of the Student Council during his Secondary School days. As a consequence of his appointment he conducted several leadership seminars and teambuilding workshops organised by the school, which led to the honour of becoming one of the youngest qualified trainers with professional certification in the industry.
Tomo Training Consulting Group (TTCG) was instituted in 2006 with the noble cause of inspiring others and unlocking the potential that lies within them.
Despite having had the experience of working with a wide variety of individuals, Tomo most enjoys working with fellow youths whom he can connect with best, hence it is no surprise that he is a Racial Harmony Youth Ambassador for the South East Community Development Council where he has been volunteering his expertise, time and effort for the past 5 years. Specifically, in the course of his involvement there, he has organised and assisted in several large-scale events such as The Amazing Race 2005, Amazing Race 2006 and Harmony Rockz.
Presently, Tomo holds a Master of Education from the University of Adelaide, B.Sc.(Hons) in Business & Management Studies, Specialist Diploma in Applied Learning & Teaching from Republic Polytechnic and a WSQ ACTA certification in training, assessment and curriculum development. Keeping himself relevant and future-ready, he is currently pursuing a Master Degree in Industry 4.0 at National University of Singapore.

In Singapore and Asia, Tomo is a certified Behavioural & Career Consultant of The Institute of Motivational Living – USA (IML) which is training and publishing company designed to help people communicate better and work together more effectively in teambuilding, career-planning, hiring, conflict resolution and counselling, among others. He is therefore fully qualified and authorised to administer, score and interpret the results of profile instruments of the personality system during the provision of consulting, training and general counselling.
Moreover, he is also an accredited facilitator qualified to conduct leadership workshops using the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire of the Full Range Leadership Model developed by Bernard M. Bass & Bruce J. Avolio – globally the #1 and #3 most quoted leadership writers in the social sciences realm, and this particular model is arguably the most in-depth and extensively validated leadership model
in the world today.
As a facilitative leader, Tomo is patient with a sympathetic listening ear, giving adequate support whilst being grounded by his principle-centred views. A sincere and warm presenter, he believes implicitly in his purpose and this translates into the enthusiasm and freshness with which he approaches each workshop – immaterial of the countless times he may have previously conducted it. His genuine and authentic intentions are communicated through his use of humour, personal stories, objective lessons and relevant examples which bring the theoretical ideas to life. Notably, participants of Tomo’s workshops always have fun and find the sessions highly enjoyable, meaningful and personally-relevant.
Tomo endeavours to continue to use his expertise and enthusiasm in order to inspire youths to act on their dreams and see the greatness that exists in them; to date, Tomo has touched the lives of more than 3000 individuals.
